HOW WE MET
The story of Kelli and Brendan began in 2012. The two met at work at a law firm. Despite seeing that Kelli was a Michigan grad, Brendan was instantly drawn to her intelligence and kindness. It didn't take long for them to become friends, then best friends.
Shortly after Kelli and Brendan started their relationship, Sean and Connor began to spend time together. They were incredibly excited to see each other. Their first time hanging out was watching Lego Ninjago at the movie theater. They've been close with each other ever since.
The family moved in together in May 2018. Since that time, they've traveled to the Atlantic and Pacific coasts, hiked in Hocking Hills, and gone through the pandemic.
In June 2022, they traveled to Greece, along with Kelli's immediate family. Brendan knew that it would be the perfect time to propose. After taking time to get the right ring (and getting it through airport security), he proposed to Kelli on an idyllic beach cove at sunset. Kelli's sister, Kristen, and brother-in-law, Keith, helped put together an amazing video that preceded the proposal with reactions from the boys and family photos.
Most recently, the family has been spending a lot of time in the Traverse City area, where they have a second home. They are excited to share the wonders of Northern Michigan with you during their wedding weekend!
